"I admit it feels strange and difficult to write these lines now; it doesn’t seem real that six months have already passed, and I can’t deny I’m writing with a bit of that intense saudade. But I know I’m returning with a backpack full of gratitude and immense joy (and, of course, a stash of pasteis de nata)!☀️
It would be impossible to sum everything up in a few lines, but one thing is certain: it has been a truly meaningful journey, one of those that inevitably changes you a little—filled with precious encounters, bonds, shared experiences, new awareness, and beautiful, important memories and places.
I really want to thank Rota and all the wonderful people who are part of it for giving me the opportunity to live this experience and for allowing me to be part of this incredible community, which I deeply believe in.
Thank you, above all, for making me feel at Home.
And thank you to all the people I met and shared part of this journey with, whether it was for a moment or the entire path.
Today, more than ever, I feel incredibly lucky🌻
