Since 1992, many things have happened... Here are some of the date which stand out the most.

• Jul.93 - Ist activity organised by the association - 'Peddy paper'
• Nov.93 - “ Rota Jovem “ is invited by the Town Hall of Cascais to be part of the Municipal Council for Youth Matters ( C.M.A.J.)
• Apr.94 - Launch of the association's newsflash -"ArROTA"
• Sep.95 - Organisation and coordenation of  the “ Clean Up The World “ project in colaboration with I.W.P. and the Ecological Group of Cascais - an international project carried out for the first time in Portugal.
• Jun.96   - Rota Jovem is awarded a 'Medalha de Mérito Municipal' (Medal of Municipal Merit) for its' environmental projects.
• Mar.97   - Inauguration of the “ Centro de Informação e Apoio ao Associativismo Juvenil “ at Rota Jovem's headquarters.
• Jul.97   - Organisation of the 1st international youth exchange in Finland.
• Nov.97   - “Festa dos 100 Sócios”, total number of members of the association.
• Jan.98   - Launch of the “ Casa Encantada “ (Haunted House) project.
• Aug.98 - On the invitation of the Secretary for Youth, RotaJovem organises the 'Discovering Lisbon' program for 700 young people from all over the world in the scope of the 'World Youth Festival'
• Aug.00 – Participates in the International Youth Camp in Gaza, Palestine.
• Set.01 – The 'Câmara Municipal de Cascais' (Cascais Town Hall) makes the building in Largo do Mercado available for the installation of the association's current headquarters.
• Apr.02 – Sends first volunteers in the scope of the European Voluntary Service program.
• Fev.03 – Sends first group of portuguese interns in the scope of the 'Leonardo da Vinci' program.
• May.03 – Receives first group of foreign interns in the scope of the 'Leonardo da Vinci' program.
• Jan.04 – Rota Jovem International Space opens to the public
• Sep.04 – Receives first volunteers through the European Voluntary Service program.
• Jun.05 – Organises 1st international seminar in Portugal 'B.E.S.T. - Better EVS skills and technics'
• Mar.06 - Rota Jovem starts to coordinate EVS-projects for other associations.
• Jun.07 - Organisation of the "Volunteering is Calling" project which happened during the World Sailing Championships in Cascais where Rota Jovem hosted 95 international (EVS) volunteers and 60 local volunteers.
• May.08 - Rota Jovem exeeds for the first time 1000 registered members.
• Nov.08 - Receive for the first time a grant of the Citizenship Programme to organize the "Step into Europe" project.
• Feb.09 - The first internal long-term training course on volunteering and organising activities takes place.
• Jun.09 - "Experimenta Mais" is a volunteer programme where 30 youngsters experiment with 4 different areas of volunteering.
